Our philosophy is that a hot sauce should be more than just a condiment. We strive to find the perfect harmony between fire and finesse. In order to highlight authenticity and our know-how, we create each step of the process.

Our secret lies in the transformation of food through the lacto fermentation of fruits and peppers that make up our sauces as well as the acetic fermentation of our artisanal vinegars. We firmly believe that every dish has a hot sauce and that Sambal Alex sauces will easily carve out a place for themselves in your daily life!

THE TECHNIQUE

Our sauces are made from ingredients that are carefully lacto-fermented in a temperature-controlled chamber, with vinegars created by flaming the alcohol and then aerating it for a quick transformation, without any trace of alcohol. Each recipe combines unique flavors of peppers, fruits and alcohol for an unparalleled taste experience.

Our hot sauce is 100% natural, with no added coloring or preservatives. We have chosen not to use chemical preservatives, as we use a homemade vinegar made from natural ingredients. This vinegar helps reduce the pH level of the sauce and ensures its safe preservation. As for the color, we have voluntarily decided not to add artificial colorings in order to preserve the authentic shade of our sauce, as it was designed.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Alex has dabbled in several types of cuisine that have led him to explore a multitude of different flavors and foods. He quickly discovered a passion for hot peppers and strives to use them in all their forms.

This marked curiosity for the art of hot sauce has pushed him to perfect his recipes in order to offer a unique and superior quality product. He has acquired specific techniques, allowing him to have total control over the entire preparation process, thus guaranteeing remarkable results.

He is diligently dedicated to creating unique sauces combining peppers, fruits and alcohol, while exploring new possibilities for seasonings and spicy products of all kinds.
